U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said in a White House briefing that the U.S. military coordinated closely with Israel to defend against Iran's missile attack on Tuesday and joined in the efforts to shoot down the missiles. " We will consult with Israelis about the next steps and how to deal with Iran in the wake of the attack," he said. Sullivan said no Israeli aircraft or strategic assets were hit and so it appears that the attack was defeated.
