Guy Goodes has been appointed on Tuesday coach of the Israeli national basketball team on Tuesday.
Goodes will replace Oded Kattash, who is completing a four-year term.
"I am happy for this great honor I was given, for the privilege, appreciation, and trust to lead the Israeli team. This is a very emotional moment for me, as a former player of the Israeli team myself."
