Palestinian killed in clashes with troops on the West Bank

A Palestinian was killed in clashes with IDF troops on Wednesday, as they IDF surrounded the home of a terror suspect near the West Bank city of Nablus.
According to the military, Salman Amran, is 35 years old from the town of Deir al-Hata, who is a known Hamas operative barricaded himself in his home and shot at the troops.
"The soldiers responded with live fire toward the residence and used a variety of means, including fragmentation grenades and a bulldozer," the IDF spokesperson's Unit said in a statement.
"In addition, shots were fired toward the soldiers from a number of sources. The soldiers responded with live fire toward the sources of the shooting. Hits on a number of armed Palestinians were identified and one assailant was killed as a result of the shooting," the IDF said.
