Former IDF chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot announced Sunday morning he was throwing his hat into the political arena by teaming up with Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Justice Minister Gideon Sa'ar in a three-headed alliance.
Gantz, Sa'ar and Eisenkot signed an agreement Saturday evening stipulating that the union will hold primaries for the 26th Knesset after the upcoming November 1 polls.
Yamina's Matan Kahana also announced he will be departing from the party and joining the triptych.
