Court names Israeli businessman charged in Iranian plot to assassinate Israeli leaders

A court in Be'er Sheva on Thursday lifted a gag order on an espionage case revealing that Moti Maman, a 72-year-old resident of Ashkelon, has been charged with being recruited by Iran to assassinate senior Israeli officials.
According to the indictment, the businessman, who is based in Turkey, was allegedly tasked with plotting attacks against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
