The IDF spokesperson reported that military forces fired warning shots toward suspects who were moving toward them approximately half a kilometer from the aid distribution site in Gaza. According to the statement, "Earlier today, during mass movement along designated routes toward the distribution site, about half a kilometer from the complex, IDF forces identified several suspects moving toward them outside the designated routes. Forces fired warning shots, and when they did not retreat, additional shots were fired near individual suspects who were advancing toward the forces. There are reports of casualties, and the incident details are under investigation." Earlier, Hamas claimed that 24 people were killed and about 200 others were wounded by "direct Israeli fire" at the distribution site in Rafah.
