The IDF and Shin Bet eliminated a senior member of the "Kataeb al-Mujahideen" terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip who was responsible for the burial of the couple Judy Lynn Weinstein Haggai and Gad Haggai, who were returned in a rescue operation earlier this month. The senior official, Ali Saadi Wazfi al-Agha, was eliminated in a hideout where he operated in central Gaza. He served as the military commander of the southern Gaza Brigade in the terrorist organization and was expected to take the place of Asad Abu-Shariah as the head of the organization after he was eliminated by the IDF and Shin Bet at the beginning of the month.
