Yashar Chairman Gadi Eisenkot addressed his meeting with Shin Bet chief David Zini and Central Elections Committee Chairman Noam Solberg regarding the suspicion of Qatari interference in the elections. He said: "I received an update from them on the situation. It is too early to understand what happened and whether anything happened at all. Professional authorities must be allowed to exhaust the investigation, without political involvement. What is already clear is that Likud and Netanyahu launched a coordinated and organized campaign to delegitimize the election results. Their statements and briefings were prepared. They are doing this because they lost. They don't have a majority. The State of Israel has rule of law. I will not allow a centimeter of deviation from the Knesset swearing-in as planned."
