Woman burned by ex-husband in Harish dies, suspect to be charged with murder

|
Doctors at Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer pronounced the death of Anan Baker Jazmawi, a 46-year-old mother of three from Ar'ara, who was critically injured by a Molotov cocktail thrown at her by her ex-husband earlier this month in Harish. The 56-year-old ex-husband, a resident of Jisr az-Zarqa who was previously imprisoned for domestic violence offenses, was charged this week with attempted murder - and now the charge will be changed to murder. 239 people have been murdered in Arab society since the beginning of the year, compared to 237 victims in all of last year.
