Syria: Missiles and drones fired at military bases, one of them American

The Syrian army reported that one of its bases was attacked by missiles fired from Iraq. The Syrian Army's Operations Command said the base, in northeastern Syria, "was attacked by 5 missiles fired from the vicinity of the village of Tal al-Hawa, inside Iraqi territory. We were in contact with the Iraqi side regarding the incident, and they confirmed that the Iraqi army has begun an operation to locate the perpetrators." Earlier, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported a drone attack on the American base Kharab al-Jir in the northern countryside of Al-Hasakah province in Syria. No details were provided regarding the extent of the damage.
