The UN has significantly expanded its database of companies allegedly conducting business activities linked to settlements in Judea and Samaria, adding 61 new companies to it. Among the Israeli companies added: Tnuva, Netafim, Taavura, Africa Israel, Aloney Hetz, Energix and Maman, as well as companies operating well-known brands including Aroma Espresso Bar, BBB, Cafe Joe and Carmel Winery. In total, the updated database includes 214 companies from 11 countries, compared to 158 last year, and five companies were removed from it. Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, TripAdvisor and Motorola remained on the list. Israel condemned the database and called it a 'political tool' and a 'distorted mechanism' that serves, according to it, as a smear campaign against companies that have committed no offense.
