Former Mossad Chief: Iranian Regime Working Relentlessly to Acquire Nuclear Capabilities

|
Former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen said at a Memorial Day ceremony at the Museum of Tolerance in Jerusalem that "the Iranian threat is not just a strategic challenge - but a moral one. Israel must do everything - diplomatically, politically, and if required - operationally - to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons." He added: "Our enemies seek to harm us, led by the Iranian regime. This is a regime that openly calls for our destruction, finances terrorism throughout the region, and works relentlessly to acquire nuclear capabilities. Such weapons would pose an existential threat to our people, to the State of Israel, and to the very future of the Jewish people."
