Netanyahu: Reducing dependence on Strait of Hormuz by rerouting supply lines from Saudi Arabia to Mediterranean

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was interviewed by the American network Newsmax about the war with Iran and discussed, among other things, reducing global dependence on the Strait of Hormuz. He said that rerouting energy supply lines to bypass Iran's "geographic chokepoint" is just one long-term option for the U.S. According to him, rerouting the supply lines would turn westward – along Saudi Arabia, through the Red Sea and the Mediterranean.
