Social Equality and Women's Advancement Minister May Golan is seeking to hire the services of Rafi Kadoshim, a senior Likud activist in Herzliya with a rich criminal past, as a political adviser using her ministry's budget. Kadoshim, who currently serves as a member of the Herzliya City Council and is considered to have significant influence among Likud officials in the city, was previously convicted of violent offenses, kidnapping and extortion – and served four prison sentences.
