New York Times publishes clarification on Gaza baby photo: 'He had health problems'

ynet|
The New York Times published a clarification regarding the image of an infant it featured in an article titled "Gazans are starving to death," following an investigation into the photo which revealed that the child was not suffering from extreme hunger, but from rare genetic diseases. The clarification stated that "after the article was published, The Times learned from his doctor that there were also pre-existing health problems." Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett responded to the clarification, writing: "After creating a tsunami of hatred toward Israel with this frightening image, the New York Times quietly admits that the child has pre-existing conditions. This is a blood libel."
