Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed that since this morning, Russia has intercepted 32 drones launched by Ukraine that were headed to the capital. The drone launches are taking place two days before the parade in Red Square marking Victory Day over Nazi Germany. Russia announced a unilateral ceasefire that was supposedly to take effect tomorrow and the day after, but it violated a ceasefire that Ukraine itself unilaterally declared over the past two days. Russia's Defense Ministry threatened a sharp response if Ukraine attacks during the May 9 events.
