The Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) board of directors approved a decision to rehabilitate northern and western Negev communities damaged during the war. As part of the decision, a budget of 75 million shekels was allocated for the rehabilitation of Kibbutz Nir Oz. There is progress in resolving the kibbutz's budget crisis, but negotiations with the Tekuma administration continue. Previously, the kibbutz was told that the budget was "stuck" due to KKL's role, which at that time refused to transfer it.
