Police in Spain raided the headquarters of anti-Israel Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's party as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged financial misconduct by former members of the Socialist Party. The National Police Corps told The Associated Press that officers raided the central headquarters in Madrid under court orders in an attempt to find relevant materials to aid the investigation. Police clarified that the search is limited solely to an investigation led by National Court Judge Santiago Pedraz into the alleged misconduct of former party member Leyra Díaz. The Socialist Party said Díaz acted on her own. Díaz, who has since left the party, denied any wrongdoing.
