Ofir Breslavsky, father of hostage Rom Breslavsky, sharply attacked members of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee during a committee discussion. "Instead of drinking a toast on Rosh Hashanah, you will drink the blood of the hostages," he lashed out at them, "you will drink their blood because they are dead. Shame, disgusting." He demanded that Chairman Boaz Bismuth (Likud) respond if it is "acceptable to him that hostages have been in Gaza for two years," to which Bismuth replied that he "speaks every day" about his son. The father of kidnapped soldier Nimrod Cohen attacked: "Threaten with dismissals if there is no deal."
