Police announced the launch of an operation to combat crime in the Arab community in the city of Rahat and its surroundings. According to police, "This is a large-scale economic enforcement operation aimed at fighting organized crime, strengthening governance and improving public security." So far, officials noted, more than 60 vehicles worth an estimated value of over 20 million shekels have been seized.
