The head of military intelligence for the "Libyan National Army" in the eastern part of the country, Brigadier Fawzi Mansouri, was killed by an explosive device planted in his car outside his home in the Al-Hawari area of Benghazi. This was reported to Reuters by two security sources. According to the sources, the explosion occurred in the evening hours, and it has not been disclosed at this stage who is behind the assassination. The "Libyan National Army," led by General Khalifa Haftar, controls most of eastern and southern Libya.
