Yemen's Prime Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak published his resignation letter on X, writing that "I made every possible effort to contribute to our struggle to rebuild the country, defeat the Houthi coup, fight corruption, achieve financial and administrative reform, and reconstruct state institutions.
"I faced many difficulties and challenges, perhaps the most important of which was the inability to act according to my constitutional powers and make decisions necessary for reform in state institutions, and the inability to implement required changes in government."
