The 17-year-old from the West Bank who was run over and killed at the Village shopping center in Hadera came to the location with friends for a Selichot event. An argument broke out between the teen and his friends and a commercial vehicle driver who was unloading goods there, a resident of Kfar Manda. The driver hit the teen and continued driving, and one of the teen's friends shot at him, lightly wounding him. The driver continued driving after the incident and was apprehended in the Central District. The Shin Bet participated in the investigation overnight on suspicion of terrorism, but by dawn it was determined to be a criminal incident.
