Opposition leader Yair Lapid told Ynet after a security briefing meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that under any scenario, elections will be held on time, just as municipal elections were held during wartime. Sources close to Lapid added that the briefings he received suggest that "there was really no basis for Netanyahu's warnings that Israel's enemies would try to attack it ahead of the elections."
