Ahead of Independence Day, the Jewish National Fund (Keren Kayemet LeYisrael) announced that some forests still have concerns about the presence of missile debris or other hazards and will be closed to the public during the holiday: Rosh HaAyin Forest, Hulda Forest (including Nahshonim), Elad Forest, Route 28 Forest (including Bareket), Shoham Forest, Ben Shemen Forest, Canada Park, Hulda Forest, Eshtaol Forest, Lehi Forest, HaMeginim Forest and the forests along the confrontation line in the north. The KKL added that all other forests are open to the public.
