Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Yesha Council Chairman Israel Gantz made a declaration regarding the sovereignty plan in Judea and Samaria. "There never was and never will be an Arab state within our midst," said Smotrich, who warned the Palestinian Authority against "raising its head" which would lead Israel to "destroy it like Hamas." Additionally, the Finance Minister addressed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "Convene the government and make a historic decision - apply sovereignty to all open areas in Judea and Samaria. If you do this, you will enter the history books as a great leader."
