Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated following the burning of houses and vehicles in a village near Bethlehem that this is "an attempt to take the law into their hands by a radical minority." He added: "I view these violent riots with severity, this is a radical minority that does not represent the settlers in Judea and Samaria. I intend to deal with this personally and convene the relevant ministers as soon as possible to address this serious phenomenon. I strengthen the IDF and security forces who continue to act with determination and without fear."
