Senior officer who investigated Uri Elmakayes' handling testifies: 'Roman Gofman's involvement negligible'

|
The commander of the IDF Intelligence Directorate's Information Security Department, Major General G., who was among those responsible for investigating the handling of teenager Uri Elmakayes, presented testimony to the Advisory Committee for Senior Appointments and Positions that may assist designated Mossad chief Roman Gofman. Parts of his account are being published on Ynet for the first time. "The matter of 210 (Gofman's division. Ed.) contacting him is a very, very minor issue. The serious substantive offense is the publication of classified information that came out of the IDF, and again this is in a negligible context to that connection related to Division 210," he testified.
