Netanyahu Criticizes Qatar: 'Hostage Deal Through Egypt Was About to Materialize - It Didn't Happen'

|
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with Cyprus President Nicos Christodoulides and addressed the Houthi threat following the missile strike at Ben Gurion Airport. 'We will take extremely forceful counter-action against them, and always remember they acted under the orders and support of their patron - Iran. We will do what's necessary to send Iran an appropriate warning that we cannot tolerate such actions.' He also addressed the hostages and fighting in Gaza: 'We are asking others to pressure not only Hamas but also Qatar, which has decisive influence over Hamas. In fact, we had a hostage deal that was about to materialize, which would have released almost half of the hostages with Egypt's help, but it didn't happen.'
