The prosecution has submitted an indictment to the Jerusalem District Court against a 34-year-old East Jerusalem resident for murdering his 4-year-old daughter in her sleep and attempting to murder his brother. According to the indictment, on the night when the daughter was staying with him after being brought from his ex-wife's home, he moved her to the living room and decided to murder her. He then took his daughter to the yard, where he slit her throat with a knife. Later, he attempted to murder his brother in his sleep, and when the brother woke up, a struggle ensued. The defendant is charged with aggravated murder and attempted murder.
