Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem told the Qatari newspaper Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed that the terror organization demands the United States compel Israel to fulfill the requirements of the first phase of the Gaza agreement to end the war. According to him, "Hamas committed to the agreement's requirements, including prisoner exchanges. Hamas is completely ready to transfer the management of the Gaza Strip to an independent technocratic committee."
