Rami Glikstein (58), an Israeli educator who also serves as a lecturer in the IDF, was attacked in an antisemitic incident while on his way to a restaurant in Manhattan. Glikstein, who is in the US on a family visit, was heading to 'Mr. Broadway' restaurant, well-known to the Jewish community in New York, when suddenly a man approached him, pointed at his kippah and said "Tell me what your religion is." When Glikstein moved away from him, the man threw his kippah on the floor, spat on it and then hit Glikstein in the face. He received treatment at the hospital afterward.
