A Hamas source told ynet that members of the Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya, arriving in Cairo today, are expected to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner. The source also said that representatives from Qatar will attend the meetings and that discussions will focus on the mechanism for releasing hostages — primarily those still alive — as well as the demand for Israeli withdrawal from certain areas in Gaza, cessation of drone operations and ending the fighting. Additionally, it was stated that Hamas demands the release of Marwan Barghouti.
