Parents of hostage Alon Ohel: 'Bring the issue of the deal to a referendum'

|
The parents of hostage Alon Ohel spoke at the Hostages Square, saying: "For almost two years we have been in an endless nightmare. A nightmare that has shaken Alon, all the hostages and of course us, the family." They added that "the current government was not elected when there were hostages in Gaza. If anyone in it claims there is no public majority for an agreement, or that an overwhelming majority is needed, we clearly call: bring the issue to a referendum." According to them, "the time for Alon and the rest of the male and female hostages is running out. We need to go to a referendum. The government must act according to the people's will."
