Herzog at Mount Herzl: 'The goal of the war is to restore life to normalcy'

|
President Isaac Herzog spoke at the state memorial ceremony for victims of hostile actions at Mount Herzl, saying that "terrorist attacks, as well as the murderous missile strikes from Iran and Lebanon, attempt to harm us, all of us, without distinction. They do not differentiate between beliefs, faiths, religions or opinions. Between one blood and another. But facing them, a growing alliance is strengthening, one that includes Israelis from every background, religion, faith, way of life and worldview, who seek to choose life. We remember the goal for which we are fighting – our victory is not only measured by defeating the enemy, the victory will be complete when life is restored to normalcy."
