A 40-year-old man was stung by a stingray at Bar Kochba Beach in Ashkelon. MDA (emergency medical services) teams evacuated him in moderate condition to the city's Barzilai Hospital. Paramedics Eitan Lasri and Adva Asulin reported: "We arrived at the scene and found a man in his 40s near the water who told us he was stung by a stingray after diving in the area."
