Nickolay Mladenov, the senior envoy for Gaza on behalf of the "Peace Council," addressed the wave of IDF strikes in the Gaza Strip following the announcement of a roadmap for implementing the agreement with Hamas. "Two days of strikes across Gaza killed civilians and destroyed medical equipment that people depend on," he wrote on X. "This comes after intensive efforts by the Peace Council and the mediators (Egypt, Turkey, Qatar and the United States) to bring the Palestinian factions in Gaza to agree to a roadmap for full implementation of President Trump's plan, for the transfer of civil administration and for their disarmament. Both sides have obligations under the comprehensive plan and the Sharm el-Sheikh deal, which secured the release of all hostages."
