Olympic champion Tom Reuveny was eliminated in the semifinal at the Windsurfing World Championship. Reuveny had already won the semifinal race and secured his spot in the medal race, but organizers identified a premature start and restarted the race, in which Reuveny failed to finish in the top two positions and ultimately finished in fifth place.
