It was further reported that both requests note that Filber's lawsuits were filed shortly before or after the state's announcement that it is considering canceling the state witness agreement signed with him in the Thousands Cases, and that Filber claimed in one lawsuit that he suffered damages due to abusive treatment during his arrest proceedings.
