Shas chairman Aryeh Deri addressed Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman Yuli Edelstein during an urgent faction meeting, saying: "He's blocking everything. He wants to screw Netanyahu and bring down his coalition out of personal revenge." According to Deri, "He is the one working to bring down the government and dragging the entire right wing and the religious bloc into an unprecedented situation because he didn't receive a ministerial position." Deri added: "We are in an unprecedented crisis, we have no choice. We're heading to elections."
