Police raided three medical service companies on suspicion of fraud and serious deception against hundreds of elderly people amounting to millions of shekels. Last night, five family members from Haifa and Nesher who manage the companies were arrested, with the main suspect (42) being imprisoned. The investigation revealed suspicions that the companies fraudulently collected money, refrained from providing life-saving emergency services even when needed and in some cases even impersonated doctors and provided medical treatments while posing a real risk to patients' lives. Additionally, there is suspicion of failing to report millions of shekels in income to tax authorities.
