Indictment: Man Smashed Memorial to Police Officer Yossi Kirma With Hammer in Jerusalem

|
The police prosecution unit filed an indictment with the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court against a 53-year-old resident of Mevasseret Zion for smashing the memorial to police officer Staff Sgt. Yossi Kirma, who fell in the line of duty. The police arrested the suspect last week after he intentionally caused severe damage to the memorial in Mevasseret Zion using a hammer. Kirma fell in battle in October 2016 when he advanced toward contact and thwarted a shooting attack in Jerusalem.
