Haifa resident arrested on suspicion of providing information about Israeli citizens to Iranians

Police arrested 28-year-old Dmitry Cohen, a Haifa resident, on suspicion of committing security offenses and espionage for the Iranians. The investigation revealed that the suspect carried out surveillance missions on Israeli citizens whose details he received from his Iranian handler. As part of this, he photographed their living environments and transferred images of their homes and photos of various trips around the country to his handler. The investigation also revealed that the handler provided the suspect with a phone for maintaining secret communication. For completing these missions, Cohen received approximately $500 for each task. In the coming days, the prosecution is expected to file serious charges against the suspect.
