Police and Shin Bet arrested 16 suspects involved in the shooting incident in which Chief Inspector Niv Peretz fell while on duty when he was shot in Zalafa village in Ma'ale Iron Regional Council, during a chase after arms dealers. Two main suspects in the incident were arrested in Haifa by Yamam and Shin Bet forces.
