Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Welfare Minister Yariv Levin signed a 60-day protection order against dismissal, prohibition of harm to work conditions, paid days of absence and carrying over vacation days - for reserve soldiers and their spouses. The signing of the order follows the Knesset's approval in third reading of a National Insurance bill to compensate employers for the reserve duty period of employees, and constitutes a complementary step to strengthen protection for reservists in the labor market.
