Israel's Ambassador to the U.S. Yechiel Leiter provided an update on the condition of his son Neria, who was wounded in a ramming attack at a checkpoint on Route 443. He said that "Neria's life still hangs in the balance, but we have seen some encouraging signs and we are clinging to them with hope." The ambassador added: "Along with a deep sense of gratitude to all those who care, I ask that prayers for Neria also include wishes for a complete recovery for all those seriously wounded by terrorists. They are the heroes who ensure we can persevere and prevail in the fight against those who sow murder and destruction."
