IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir hosted the commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper, at an operational forum. The Chief of Staff said that 'our mission is to influence reality and not be dragged by it, through tactical and systemic initiative. We must ensure that we fully capitalize on the achievements of the campaign. We are well prepared in defense alongside readiness and immediate preparedness to return to intense fighting.' He added: 'In all the main arenas, negotiation processes are taking place these days - all of these are the result of the IDF's historic achievements.'
