Netanyahu's lawyer accuses judge of being 'prosecution's advocate,' she erupts: 'Outrageous!'

|
During proceedings in the Trial of the Century, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's defense attorney lashed out at presiding Judge Rivka Friedman-Feldman, saying she "could be the prosecution's advocate." Prosecutor Jonathan Tadmor presented Netanyahu with an excerpt from a conversation between him and Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Arnon Mozes. Haddad claimed Tadmor was hiding an important part of the conversation from Netanyahu, and Tadmor responded "false accusation." The judge sided with the prosecution that the conversation had been presented to Netanyahu. Haddad then turned to her and said: "Your Honor is an excellent advocate, wow. She could sit here and be the prosecution's advocate." Friedman-Feldman erupted: "You are outrageous! You will maintain the dignity of the court. This is not the first time, but it is the first time I am saying this." Haddad said: "I think I deserve an apology."
