A memorial ceremony has begun at the Israeli Embassy in Washington, in memory of Yaron Lishinsky and Sarah Milgram, who were murdered in a shooting attack near the embassy last May. The ceremony is being held in the presence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife. Hanan Lishinsky, Yaron's brother, shared: "Yaron and Sarah met after and because of October 7. It's truly a very powerful closure. It changed both their lives and it's also closure for us, the family." Sarah's parents, Bob and Nancy, said: "Before Sarah got the job at the embassy she wanted to move to Israel. After October 7 she lost hope."
