Democrats party leader Yair Golan attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following ynet's exposé that Ali al-Tuwadi, who was recently appointed as Qatar's representative to Trump's Peace Council, is involved in the Qatar-Gate affair. Golan said that "Qatar funded Hamas and the October 7 massacre. Qatar funded Netanyahu's office. And now, 800 days after the war, Netanyahu is giving control of Gaza to Qatar." He added: "This is a red line. The suspicions of betrayal by Netanyahu's office are resonating. He must leave the Prime Minister's Office and go straight into interrogation rooms to explain his ties to Qatari and Hamas funding."
